Sysadmin Central was created in February 2019 with the aim of sharing my knowledge with Power Users, System Administrators and regular users with issues.

My goal with this blog is to clearly describe common issues I’ve encountered in the past and how to get over them in a simple to understand, step-by-step process which I hope will help myself and others who have been in a similar position.

With several years of experience managing and developing various platforms for business and user requirements, I feel like I’m in a unique position to understand and describe common issues I and others have encountered.

A bit about me

My name’s Shaun Wilkinson and I’m a resident of the beautiful Isle of Skye on Scotland’s west coast.

I’ve spent more than a decade now in various IT positions, starting off in a System Administration capacity and more recently specialising in Azure and other cloud environments, always with a focus on the end-user experience and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that we achieve the best outcomes possible.

I have primarily worked in a System Administration role helping businesses and users achieve their goals using a mixture of Microsoft products, with a specific focus on SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, and Azure. However, I’ve had the privilege to work on plenty of projects including migrating companies from on-prem only to dedicated Azure environments, helping to achieve ISO 9001 accreditation, setting up a Quality Management System as part of the QMS team, and performing a migration from CRM 2013 to Dynamics 365 and much more.
